Picking Up The Pieces
“Over the years, I’ve had the thought that maybe there is too much of me to love. Or, maybe, I have too much love to give. Maybe, if there is less of me then there will be less of me to hurt, or to be hurt, or to keep giving and giving. So, for a long time, I paired myself down until I was a size that was manageable. And then I realized that I was empty and there was nothing left.”
In Picking Up The Pieces, M.C. Greene explores our need for connection and the reasons why we lose ourselves in our search for love. Her unique collection of poetry and prose takes us through the heartbreak of love and loss and letting go, into the journey of finding strength and resilience on the road to healing, and through the lessons we learn along the way as we begin picking up the pieces.
